Teacher: Pastor Ryan Kilgore Location: MEA Classroom Time: Thursday 9a-10:15a Class description: Learn the basics of fly fishing for trout on Montana streams. Topics covered include fly fishing equipment, fly selection, finding trout in streams, knot tying, and fly casting. Learn the basics to help you get out on the water and have fun. Also, depending on interest, there may be an off-campus excursion for those interested on Friday. Bring to Class: No supplies, equipment, or prior experience necessary (materials provided). However, those who have their own fly fishing gear may wish to bring it with them. About the Teacher: Pastor Ryan Kilgore has been an avid fly angler for nearly 10 years, fishing with a variety of tactics in streams across Washington, Idaho, and Montana. He loves to share the things he has learned that help him catch fish and enjoy his time on the water.
