About the event
Class Description: Learn the basics of fly fishing for trout on Montana streams. Topics covered include fly fishing equipment, fly selection, finding trout in streams, knot tying, and fly casting. Learn the basics to help you get out on the water and have fun. Class members have the option to borrow gear to go fishing on their own. Must attend this class to attend Part 2 fly fishing class.
About the Teacher: Pastor Ryan Kilgore has been an avid fly angler for nearly 10 years, fishing with a variety of tactics in streams across Washington, Idaho, and Montana. He loves to share the things he has learned that help him catch fish and enjoy his time on the water.
