About the event
Class description: What is an exciting outdoor hobby that pays you to exercise and can be enjoyed by all ages? Metal Detecting! In this workshop, we will explore the following questions (1) How do metal detectors work? (2) What equipment do I need to get into metal detecting? (3) How do I know how to choose a good detector? (4) Where are good places here in Montana to find buried coins and relics? Ken will be displaying some old as well as recent finds. All workshop attendees will have a chance to try a variety of detectors and experience the fun of finding buried treasure.
Bring to class: Bring your own camp chair for seating; Bring your own metal detector if you have one
About the Teacher: With over 40 years of metal detecting experience, Pastor Ken enjoys sharing with others the steps on how to get into this rewarding hobby and the secrets to successful coin and relic hunting.
