The Whitehall Church conducted a several-day program in the Twin Bridges Senior Center this last week, culminating in an inspiring sing-along gospel music jamboree on Sabbath afternoon. Their program included several things such as: a class on the sanctuary by Pastor Chitwood, cooking classes, children's programs, health. personality (and spiritual gifts) classes.

One boy that attended with his grandma was really enthusiastic about learning, even picking up a few songs on the guitar. Yvette Morris told me they gave him a Bible at the end of the program: "I have NEVER seen anyone so excited. He is 6 years old. He hugged me with such enjoyment. It warmed my heart."

Several people mentioned that this event was also excellent for the members of the church as they pulled together to make this program happen. Truly, when we work for Jesus, it does draw us closer to one another!
