In the small town of Heron, Montana (population 200), nearly 40 Seventh-day Adventists gather weekly to study and worship. The building they meet in is the most unassuming of all; the sign outside is labeled “United Methodist Church.” However, the removable letters below boldly declare, “Services Saturday, 11am.”
The little congregation did, in fact, meet on Sundays until only a few years ago. But this winter will mark three years since the congregation decided to go “Back to the Bible” with Pastor Donavon Kack . . . and the rest was history.
The story was so amazing that a video was produced and featured at the 2025 General Conference Session – click on the link to watch!
