Did you ever sit and wonder watching fluffy clouds drift by,

Can the world last much longer?

Will we endure unto the end,

Have our sins been all forgiven,

So we may walk the streets of gold with Him,

Or will one or both be lost to due to one forgotten sin?

Have I been the spouse you dreamed of? I know I’ve tried to be…

Has life been as good to you as you wanted it to be?

Oh yes, I’ve sat and wondered as I watch the clouds drift by,

I try to look beyond the clouds far deeper in the sky.

It’s then that I whisper a prayer upon the breeze,

Thanking God for all the great times we’ve shared

And hope to continue for all eternity,

I thank Him for our children and the joy we had with them,

And for the birds and flowers,

But most of all for you – my husband, my lover, my friend.
