Campmeeting & Constituency Meeting
​
We have some important news to share with you. Mt. Ellis Academy (MEA) received extensive funding to make important updates to their gymnasium. This is great news for the school!
​
However, the gym will be undergoing serious renovations during a narrow time frame (this upcoming summer, from the end of the school year until the beginning of the fall semester). Several sections of the gym will be involved, making it impossible to use entry doors, bathrooms, etc. Construction traffic will also make it unsafe to accommodate a large group on the premises.
​
Our Campmeeting Committee recently discussed various alternative solutions for conducting Campmeeting this year. After careful consideration, it was decided that holding Campmeeting is not feasible due to several extenuating factors. This recommendation was reviewed by the Board of Directors, who finalized the decision to cancel Campmeeting. The 2026 Constituency Meeting will proceed as planned on Sunday, July 19.

The good news is that an alternate plan has been devised, which is to expand the Constituency Meeting to a Conference-Wide Weekend Convocation in the Hawk Gym of the Bozeman High School. All are welcome! Speaker Alex Bryan will still be preaching for Friday night, Sabbath morning worship service, and Sabbath night.* The Constituency Meeting will also take place in the BHS gym on Sunday.

MEA is happy to host those of you who would like to come and stay for the original length of time (July 15-18). If you have already booked a guest room or a campsite, you are welcome to come as planned and enjoy relaxation and fellowship. If you would like to cancel your reservation, or adjust it to a shorter time frame, please email or call us by April 2 at carla.lefebvre@mtcsda.org or 406-414-9890. After that time, all reservation questions will be handled directly by Mount Ellis Academy at ethomas@mtellis.org or 406-587-5178.
​
This news will no doubt be disappointing to many of you, but we can look forward to an amazing Campmeeting next year in a much-improved gym! It will be a blessing to all of us.
