About the event

Class description: “A Fine and Pleasant Misery” - Seeing the journey through a sweaty grimace is half the fun! Please convince yourself to enjoy the experience of learning about backpacking! Packs, clothing, shelters, sleeping gear and human waste are only a sample of the looming snares along the trail to emotional and financial fatigue! Yes, and the photos…and the memories…and the stories…gleaned along the way are worth the traveler’s effort. Try it. You’ll like it!
About the Teacher: “I’ve spent a sizable portion of recreational pursuit journeying the back country with all I need for my wants and comfort nested in a good pack. The places I traveled through, provided what I needed most, and what I went there for.” - Rod Boothby
