About the event

Class Description: “Making S’mores with Less” - Can you build a fire when it’s raining “cats and dogs”? Can you climb a tree with a grizzly on your back? Can you get a good night’s sleep covered in goosebumps? Learn how you can say yes, with confidence, to these questions and many more like them in this hands-on “wilderness essentials” class. Kids are welcome.
About the Teacher: “I’ve built fires when I couldn’t buy a spark…Slept soundly as Jonah while others beat their chests in fear…found my way through country so rough and steep that birds wouldn’t fly over it! So join me, and find the fun in the fundamentals of outdoor survival.” - Rod Boothby
