About the event

Class description: Do you have Hispanics living in your area? Hispanics are (usually) very friendly and will (usually) love it if you reach out to them. They are often very lonely, because they are here to work and are far from their families. They won’t mind if you don’t speak Spanish, BUT of course will greatly appreciate it if you do. Even a very feeble attempt will be usually recognized with gusto! The ABC offers materials in Spanish that you can use to share God’s love with them.
About the Teacher: I lived and worked in the Dominican Republic from 1973-1976. At that time the Adventist Church was growing very rapidly there. Most Pastors had 25 or so small churches, and most of them baptized about 100 souls in a year. I saw how the enthusiasm Hispanics had for life in general, translated into God’s work.
