About the event

Class description: “How to Lose your Truck…and other Outdoor Mysteries.” Turning on “Maps” with your gps unit is not map reading! Let’s learn the basics of finding our way on a paper map. Read a compass, follow a predetermined path and find that pesky truck! Join this class to ease your mind about getting off the beaten path.
About the Teacher: A lifetime of being outdoors, 20 plus years as a professional guide in the wildernesses of Western Montana have sharpened Rod Boothby’s skills at reading “sign” and getting back to “the truck” without anxiety or “much” panic!
